COUNTY SPEEDS UP SECTION 239F RESPONSES

We do not yet have the details, but the Long Island Business News recently reported that the Nassau County Legislature unanimously passed a law setting a 30-day time limit for the County’s DPW to report to the County’s Planning Commission and local municipality its approval, disapproval or approval subject to stated conditions on building permit and curb-cut applications affecting a County road. Any delay will permit a licensed professional engineer or architect to certify compliance.
